Beyond Faith

Exploring an old church in Switzerland with my aunt and uncle I was able to capture true faith and wonder. The way the light hits the alter has a impact on the whole image. Symbolizing the beauty that all faith and beliefs that we all hold deep within us in one form or another.

Sky View

After a day of traveling to get to Zermatt, Switzerland I was left with this view to relax to. Fortunately on a beautifully sunny day in the mountains. You truly experience how small you, as a human are in the world. Looking around and seeing all the beauty the world has to offer. It is the definition of true blissfulness, inner peace and beauty. These photos don't come close to the feeling you get while soaking in that view in person.

Naked Eye

We as human beings, take a lot of things for granted. Sight being one of many. These photos play with foreground and background. Makes you look closely to find hidden details and makes you truly grateful for being able to see such a beautiful view.

Unaltered Innocence

Children of all ages are so fun to photograph. They view life with such a care free attitude and their innocence hits your soul. Their reactions are so genuine and fun to capture. Whether it be experiencing a brain freeze, seeing a rare creature walk down the street ( La Machine) or the look of grief after wiping out after some tubing fun. These moments hold so much deep meaning whether you know the child or not because you can't help but relive your younger years.

Wipe Out

Summertime is always the best time of year. You get to spend your days by the water or if you are lucky, flying across the water on a tube. Feeling the wind in your hair and the spray of the waves. Your only goal is to stay on the tube and not wipe out.

Unfortunately for my cousin, the wipe outs make for the best photos! Sorry, not sorry.

Itsy Bitsy Spider

Fear is an interesting thing. Many people on this planet are frightened are spiders. Many may not be able to even look at these photos. Believe it or not... I am scared of spiders... My secret weapon? My camera!

I have always found water droplets on spiderwebs so elegant. There is something so peaceful and beautiful about them. The opposite reaction, their homeowners give you.

The sensation that has hit the internet is the adorable animated "Lucas the spider". In my mind, the little guy is the non animated version of Lucas. He was the first spider I ever thought of as cute.

Impersonation Imprints

I love taking photos of animals and being able to capture an emotion on their face. Whether you want to believe it or not, animals are intelligent creatures that can show what they are feeling in the moment. It may be a household pet or a wild animal... but the moments you can capture can truly make your day.

Firework Expression

A photo doesn't always need to have a specific subject matter, like many other works of art. The beauty lies within the eyes of the beholder.

These photos are my way of capturing fireworks. It adds a new way to interpret a commonly used way of celebration.

You may recognize this model, he is my muse. He shows the best expression and acts so freely. It is so easy to capture a good moment with him. They are so genuine and raw. My favourite way to capture a moment in time.

Surroundings

The world we live in is full of wonder and surprises. Wonder from how nature can effortlessly create such vibrant colours or how a single flower can manage to grow out of chaos and demolition. It is a magical world we all have the pleasure to call home.

Family Flies

Parenthood is a blessing, being able to experience bringing children into this world is a blessing. Experiencing that within nature is beautiful and breathtaking. You can feel the love these loons & geese have for their babies. It is truly magical.

Silhouette

Using light to your advantage can be used to add emphasis on a subject. It is one of my favourite styles. Especially when you get the bold and vibrant colours behind your subject. It speaks to my soul.
